Phone Compatibility

General Features for iOS and Android Smartphones

Android Phones require Hands-Free profile

• Incoming call alert via vibration, green LED and caller ID display.
• Receive incoming text alerts via vibration, blue LED and caller ID display (requires phone with Bluetooth MAP profile – check phone’s tech specs).
• Accept or decline incoming calls with the push of a button, or decline with a shake of the wrist.
• Talk and Listen using MARTIAN’S clear speaker and noise-cancellation microphone.*
• 2+ hours of talk time, 7 days of standby time. The analog watch uses a separate battery and will run for approximately 2 years.
• Martian Leash option – Notifies you when your phone is left behind.
• Connect to mobile phone using Bluetooth wireless technology – almost anything you can do with your Bluetooth headset, you can do with your MARTIAN WATCH.

* Since Martian Watches perform like a small speakerphone, 2-way conversations are often possible in quiet environments with good network connectivity, such as on a ski slope with your phone in your jacket pocket, or sometimes in a car while driving.

Additional Features on Android Smartphones
• Access the phone’s voice command functions, which allows you to place calls, send voice-to-text SMS messages, listen and respond to text messages, set calendar notifications, and use all other voice command functions for controlling music, searching the web, setting reminders and appointments, etc.*
• Receive incoming text alerts and calendar alerts via vibration, blue LED and caller ID display.**
• Receive incoming notifications, such as Facebook, Twitter, Weather, and Email. Notifications trigger vibration, an LED light flash, and scrolling message readout. View the notification again by tapping the face of your Martian for up to one minute after it comes in.
• Use Camera Remote Control to trigger your phone’s shutter from Martian Watch.
• “Find phone” and “find watch” to locate devices that are misplaced within Bluetooth range.
• World Clock date/time and local weather forecast on OLED display with the tap of a button.

* Voice Command functions on Android phones are dependent upon your device. If your phone came with an integrated Voice Command app and it works with a Bluetooth headset, it will work with MARTIAN.
** Text alerts require Bluetooth MAP profile or free Martian Watch Alerts app. Social media and other notifications require free Martian Watch Alerts app.
