IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Charge your battery fully before updating firmware.
  • If your Watch is not updated within 5 minutes, unplug the Watch from the computer and restart the Firmware Update process. Do not allow your Watch battery to drain completely before finishing the Firmware Update.
  • Do not use Update Mode on the Watch unless instructed to do so by a Martian Customer Service representative.
  1. Click the “Download” link above that corresponds to your Windows operating system.
  2. Double-Click on the downloaded file to extract.
  3. Follow the instructions within the Martian Voice Command Firmware Updater program. You will be prompted to connect your watch at the appropriate time.
  4. Once the Martian Voice Command Firmware Updater is installed on your Computer, click “Finish” and the Martian Voice Command Firmware Updater will begin the Firmware Update process.
  5. When prompted, connect your Martian Voice Command Watch to your computer using your Martian micro USB cable (other cables may not work). Then click “Next” on the firmware updater.
  6. The update will take up to 5 minutes but should be much quicker. You will see progress bars on your computer. If you don’t see progress after 5 minutes (progress bar is frozen) or if you receive an error message, stop the update, close the Firmware Updater, and unplug/re-plug the watch to reset it and start again. If the update process is successful, you will see an “Upgrade Successful” page.
  7. If the installation fails, click “Finish”, return to C:/Program Files/Martian VC Firmware Updater/ (as long as you did not change the install destination), and double-click DFUWizard.exe. Unplug and re-plug your cable into your Computer and try again.
